Many of the Milwaukee's distinctive passenger cars have gone on to long lives following their Hiawatha days. Canadian National purchased notable passenger cars second-hand from several railroads in the early 1960s. Several of Milwaukee Road's signature Super Domes and Skytop Lounge cars went north in 1964 and 1965. CN's new gray and black livery gave a modern look to these classic streamliners. They saw service on several trains across Canada into the late 1970s. Today the Skytop lounges and SuperDomes are highly prized by their new owners. Not far from Lionel headquarters, Aberdeen Carolina and Western is currently restoring the former Coffee Creek as part of their impeccable collection. Inspired by the unique Stytop design and our highly popular "Trippy Trolley," we also created our own party car featuring changing multicolor LEDs both inside and underneath.
