In 1955 the Milwuakee Road began operating Union Pacific passenger trains between Omaha and Chicago. As a result, they began repainting their own equipment to match Union Pacific's color scheme. By 1957, even the remaining Hiawatha cars had traded orange and maroon for yellow and gray. The service and views from inside the Super Domes and Skytops remained a Milwaukee Road halmark. This matched consist of aluminum passenger cars is the perfect companion for many of the Milwaukee diesel and electric locomotives we've offered previously.
